Tim's uncle Jack made me a bird feeder and to my delight my first guest was the red headed woodpecker. He started to drill a hole in the new feeder, got the cat's attention and flew off.
The heronry is open for business!

Tim's uncle Jack made me a bird feeder and to my delight my first guest was the red headed woodpecker. He started to drill a hole in the new feeder, got the cat's attention and flew off.
So I'm putting away the laundry and discover the cat in Tim's drawer, she's been looking for him everywhere.
We visited Jack & Debbie yesterday. Jack has a reputation with the local wildlife. He had the kids by the river feeding the ducks and geese, explaining how to get their attention, and of course the kids were amazed.
